Went out for a little quickie 1.25 last night. I know, dumb amount. I needed to something before my meeting last night...and that's how far I got (and still voted). Regardless of the distance...it was a GREAT RUN!!!!<img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"><img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"><img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"><img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"><br>
I was speedy and everything felt right. I wished I'd had more time.<br><br>
I have rehearsal tonight, but might try to run some distance again.

Just did 5.6 miles outside. Was supposed to do 7, but my stomach had other ideas. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> I'll get the additional 1.4 and some weights in on my lunch hour.<br><br>

No run for me yesterday. Today will be an easy 3 miles or so. Yeah, getting a little antsy, but that always happens at this point in the taper.<br><br>

I'll head out for 4 miles after dropping DD2 off at school. Then to the gym for a leg workout.<br>

Not sure what, if any, running I'll get in tonight. I have seven or eight miles planned, but that would entail getting to the gym after tutoring/traffic and not getting home till 8 or so. Not sure I'm up for it. Yesterday was a complete rest day after the LR on Monday night. My right achilles is tight and I think my left big toe is sprained. Is that possible? It's feeling better today after some rest, but yesterday it was tough to walk, esp. on stairs!<br><br>
Congrats <b>maureen!</b> I might be going for a quickie tonight myself, just to avoid not running at all!<br><br>

Still sick today, plus I have church, a women's basketball game and Ch. 4 revisions to do, so I'm taking one more day off. Of course, it'll be really cold tomorrow, so I'll be back in the gym. Ah, well.<br><br>

I have not run yet this week. Need to get on the tmill tonight! Have no motivation. Need to refocus.

No mileage yesterday, as it was yoga night. Sadly, I learned that once our class schedule concludes on Tue the 28th, there will be no more classes offered. Essentially, there wasn't enough business for the overhead costs. While I certainly understand that decision, I was rather bummed!<br><br>
Assuming the TM holds out tonight, I'll get a few on it. Hubby ran on it last night, and although the belt still makes the popping noise, it apparently runs fine otherwise. (/crosses her fingers)<br><br>
Yesterday, I mapped some outdoor routes in town, and hope to try one of those on Thurs or Sun.

Dentist sid to hold of on running until Thursday so I am gonna listen, but will play volleyball tonight. pretty low intensity, we are mostly there to go have a beer following the game!

morning - I got in 10 miles at the dome last night at about 9:30 pace. It felt pretty good. I have 6 recovery after work and I'll try to get to the gym for lifting during my lunch break.

oh my god. I ordered a size larger than I normally do because of the fitting guide. My hips and waist often don't fit in the same size category - so you have to go with the bigger one right? right? Well, that is what I did and it was not good. I made it 1 freaking lap (.4 miles) before I had to change into another short. The waist was huge and even tied as tight as possible, it moved around way too much and mega chafing was already happening in the not good places. Boo. For $13.00, I'll keep and use for lifting.
