No coffee, going to work, not sure what will be fun today. Actually, I get to spend the day talking about something I know really well, instead of talking half out my ass as I feel I have been doing for the past month. So that will be relaxing for a change.

Any good TV to look forward to tonight?
It was another one of those nights.

I'm sure you're all getting sick of hearing me tell you but it was 11:45 PM accident with overturned car and then 5:30 AM back to the same house as yesterday for the funky electrical odor - which we determined had to be coming from the heater.

morning!

LL - do you sleep at all anymore?

Speaking of sleep, I acidentally fell asleep around 9:30 last night. Didn't have to go to the gym before work, so I didn't have to get up 'till 5:30 am. That's the most sleep I've gotten in probably YEARS. I woke up a couple times in the night, but went back to sleep pretty easily. Guess I needed to catch up...

Nothing too fun on the schedule today. Oh, wait. Today's the day I get to scare all my students when I introduce their interdisciplinary research project
um. maybe no coffee for Paige until that kids is maybe...1?

seriously. the biggest blow up (ok maybe 3 on the list) that my dad and I ever had was over my drinking coffee. he didn't want me to have a habit. now, he's like my dealer or something...
Coffee with cocoa - check.
Yep - 3 classes M,W,F & 3 classes T,TH - at some point I'll figure out the whole time management for homework thing.

Oh, and there's a little paper due for the India trip I just took. I think that's the plan for this week-end.
morning! mmm, coffee.... I used to drink it occasionally during coffee, but I only became a regular drinker in the past few years. Just a little milk (pref skim) and I'm good to go.

Busy day today. Apparently a lot of students want to graduate, that's just about every single appointment on my schedule. Students have to file an application so we can confirm that all requirements will be complete at the time of graduation. Fairly routine appointments usually, which is nice.
We met the babysitter yesterday. I don't plan on going back to work until may but around here you have to get your name in very early if you want decent childcare. I hate even thinking about leaving my baby with a stranger but she came highly recommended. She does seem quite nice and the house is tidy and clean. So I guess that's that. $600 a month...eek. That's more than what we pay for rent right now. *sigh*
LL Talk about initiation by fire (no pun intended)! You've been busy for the FD!

Mandaroo send some of that coffe my way. I'm out and only have decaf tea left. Today I need full caf!

McTortle Hearing that you're back in school has refueled the fire under my butt to finish up my master's degree. Thanks for the inspiration, I think Only problem is finding a school w/ the program that matches where I started....

Clare My sister went with an au pair when it was time to return to work. Apparently, for them anyway, it was less than childcare (day care). I think it would be weird having the person live w/ you full time (she was from Brazil).

Busy day at work trying to look busy - hate these kinds of days - pretty slow right now.

I'm off for more water!
