Just wanted to stop by and remind BabyBeaker that he's supposed to come out to play today so I can win the pool

I skimmed yesterday's thread and see that there's some need for magic ***extra time*** for quite a few people, and especially magic ***extra sleep***. So there you go ********. My virtual good deed for the day is done.

More later. Have a happy Wednesday!
I'm feeling extra fat this morning (many many beers last night) and can't find a clean sweater that I can wrap around me at work. Meh.

That's the extent of my thoughts this morning, I really need to figure out how to do Tuesday night darts league without ruining myself for the next day at work. Meh.

Meh. Meh. Meh.

Happy Wednesday all!
Someone in my house has had the flu for two weeks now. I am tired of it. I am going to try to work from home this AM, but with my 4 YO that is not easy - he tends to be needy. (Last week when I worked from home, it was with my 8 YO, and he read and slept all day.) I also got a call from work at 12:45, and was up until 2:00 for it, and I am not even on call. Damn Oracle DBA had to change his schema and not tell anyone. So my SQL OLAP processes died. %$#(^^

I will be caffinating heavily.... Happy hump day kids.
Today is DW's birthday but she left for Chicago at o'dark thirty this morning. So we all went out last night to celebrate. Great dinner at "Flemings", a typical upscale steakhouse. The kids were great and the food was excellent.

Going to be a hectic few days. DW doesn't come back until late tomorrow night. I have class tonight which means a baby sitter for the kids. Then we're leaving early Friday morning to head down to D.C.

Have a nice hump day everyone.
about third day in a row I awoke with a grumble lol

Morning everyone. About to head to work. Wishing you all a good day. Going to watch the Ole Miss/Va Tech NIT game tonight while I cross train. That's about all I know of at the moment.

see yas at lunch.

Morning all! feeling better today. Raw honey before bed worked wonders. Slept pretty darn well & the run was good. snow on tap for tomorrow - 2-12 inches...seriously!
Hell yeah!!!!

Maria - you will LOVE this!

http://www.toplessrobot.com/2008/03/...of_80s_car.php
I have a few minutes to check in while my nieces are still sleeping. I'm going to get them up shortly, though, because their sleep schedules are messed up enough as it is with the time change.

I'm still in TX, we are in Temple until tomorrow a.m. and then will start the drive home. On Sunday, we were in Ft. Worth and had Easter dinner at my BIL's brother's house. Saw my 1st ever Rhodesian Ridgebacks in person, didn't know they bayed like a hound. They have 4 dogs: 2 ridgebacks, a lab, and a teeny little sheltie who was by far the calmest of the group. My nieces and nephew are not used to dogs, so it took them awhile to stop being scared.

Then on Monday we went to the Great Wolf Lodge and stayed til yesterday. I hadn't been on waterslides since I was 10, that was fun. Well, except for the part when I stepped on some kid's poop in the wave pool. ukeright: I told one of the staff, who got everyone out of the pool and it was shut down the rest of the day. The kiddie pool had already been shut down for the same reason.

My BIL had to report back to duty late last night but is being given one more night tonight. So tonight I'll have all 4 kids in the room with me again. On our way home, we will stop in Mansfield, MO to see the Laura Ingalls Wilder home. I've never been there, but my sister and I loved those books and the TV show as girls. That was our #1 story for make-believe. Her oldest DD is big into the books now.

(((hugs for dads and 30's and everyone who needs them)))

Tattoos/piercings- Any age for ear piercing and 18 for anything else. My other BIL used to do both piercings and tats and would see parents come in and refuse to allow their 14 year old to get a navel or eyebrow piercing but would allow them to get a tattoo.

Fat Tire- not bad at all. It was a little different than I expected, but it grew on me. I liked it better when I had the 2nd bottle. I still have 4 bottles left, which I'll be taking back to Ohio if I don't get the chance to buy any more on this trip. I want my other BIL to try it.
Morning all! Volleyball playoffs start tonight, wt!

You should have finished off the 6 pack, you would have been in LOVE [and maybe even registered for a future racing event]

GENIUS! I used to watch Gem before school every morning.

...And it’s not just the "GNAP" virus.
