And what event/distance do you train for?

Wait for the poll.

Edited to add: I know we all run races of various distances - just answer based upon what your main goal races usually are.

Hey youngin. I tried to add you to my myspace friends and was told to get lost because I don't know your last name or email address.

Oh, and aren't you training for a 50k?

not enough...or more correctly, not as many as I'd like but there are too many pressures...I run all distances but would consider myself a 5K guy who has run a few mile races and a few marathons.

ideally, in marathon training I'll be 50-60 mpw consistently

Very hard to put this in a category. If you divide my yearly miles by 52, you get in the 30's, however I usually miss a few weeks due to injury and generally run between 25 and 55, build, strenghten, race, recovery, repeat.......... a couple three times a year........ or something like that .

I "race" 5K's to marathons
& have "run/walked/completed" an ultra with another one or two scheduled for next year

How many miles per week to I average?
Lately, not enough.

I haven't been training for anything - just trying to get some of my former dedication back.
