I'm going to pull a Tithers and have a contest, but there really won't be any prizes unless you are doing IMAZ or GCT and maybe I'll throw you some cliff blocks there or something.<br><br>
I'm running a 5k race on Saturday. It will be flat and temps are forecasted to be in the lower 50s.<br><br>
Based on my recent times, listed below, how fast am I going to run?<br><br>
Marathon, 1/13/08: 4:30 (flat ground)<br>
1/2 Marathon 1/27/08: 1:57:51 (point-to-point net downhill)<br>
1/2 Marathon 2/17/08: 1:56:04 (loop course with LOTS of hills in last 4 miles...last 5k of race was 26:44)<br><br>
Previous stand alone 5k PR is 27:56 from mid-September on a pretty flat course in warm, humid temps.<br><br>
Chances are, your guess is as good as mine!!

Hot pants may be worn. I haven't decided yet...<br><br>
As far as speed, I've been doing track workouts once a week, most recently some I pace stuff, sets of 400s and 600s, 4-6 miles a workout. I pace is just under 2:00/400 for me.

Hot Pants - no one told me about hot pants<br><br>
I need to revise my estimate from sub 25 to sub 20 If KC is wearing Hot Pants then she will have to run really really fast to keep ahead of all the guys who will be chasing her<br><br>
