Rosie you should not delete your posts ever.

I had a mini heath bar. Then I found out the crew down the other end of the floor had a bake off. I got there too late to try the winner.....but I had a taste of some cookie or cupcakie like treat with a whole little reeses cup in it and a piece of homemade devilsfood cake...and a taste of another dark chocolate cake topped with some crunchy candy toffee, marshmellow topping.
They were all small little tastes. I am done. I have no candy cause no kids come to my building.

Oh, I thought this would be reminiscing about all the trouble we caused years ago.

Cool pumpkin, Rose. As for the calorie misdemeanors...I think I've worked my way up to felony. I'm done now...going to brush my teeth and plan tomorrow's run.

Me too. Rats.

I've done okay tonight but don't hand me a can of Pringles potato chips.

3 snack sized Milky Ways
3 mini Reece's PB cups

I took my 2 yr old nephew trick-or-treating and saw the coolest pumpkin carved to look like Napoleon Dynamite! The guy did an excellent job on it.

Rose - I didn't see what you deleted. What is a one smuttynose IPA.
Maybe I'm getting old. I can't make out the pattern in the pumpkin.

I went to run tonight after church and the kids had all come and gone before I got home. Saved one little pack of candy corn. I love candy corn. Little buggers cleaned me out.

Choovie - you caused trouble?

I did well until after all the little candy grabbers were gone. After I was sure I had plenty of candy, I had a Reese's and 2 packs of m & m's. I should have dumped all the remaining candy into the bag of the last kid to come by, instead of just the few extra pieces that I did toss in. I'll have candy left til Christmas.

Rose?

Ksrunr, I know this will be hard to believe but I have had my moments. heh heh

Just finished handing out all my favorite candy saving the icky Butterfingers for last. Yuck. Those won't tempt me at all. I'm kind of proud of my strategy to get the good stuff out of my reach

ksrunr, did your church do a harvest festival type thing on halloween or do you have services on wednesday nights? our church does a HUGE family fall harvest and there were hundreds of people down there tonight. It was so much fun. I had one of those mini-reeses pb cups and that was it. Then I made myself a turkey sandwich when I got home.

there was one very very possible celebrity sighting downtown tonight. like a 95% chance that this person was a celebrity that recently bought a home in this area (johnny would know . . . and they even share a name). If it was him, and I really think it was, what a perfect night to be out incognito - all dressed up in costume so to escape immediate recognition.

Dang that's a big goodie bag. Was he carrying it the whole time?

Tam, who is the celeb? Depp? Not that he's good at disguises or anything

OH MY GOSH!

He has Joe (my son who is now a freshman at Va. Tech) beat by 9 pounds!
No, Joe didn't go trick or treating this year, but, when he was a professional t or t -er... his record, I believe, was 13 pounds.

(Now I want to text him to confirm that 13 pounds... I am so competitive)

I was going to guess Johnny Depp too.

He'd be hard pressed to out disguise our own celebrity Johnny though

As for Halloween indiscretions, I had 3 Snickers Fun Size and 3 M&Ms Fun Size, plus a messy chocolate cupcake Going to mass this morning, so I'll ask for some forgiveness and then try to run all of it off tonight after work.

Since I oversee the QC function where I work, I had to QC two of the bite-size candies we were giving out. One was a Chewy Sweet Tarts (never had that one before), and the other was a Skittles because I wanted to see how they went with beer (oops, that's another thread apparently... ). Verdict: not a great combo. Chocolate goes with beer so much better!

22 lbs!!!!!

yes, johnny depp is who I was referring to. He bought a house not too far from here - out in the country. It's actually Kirstie Alley's former house and I there was another celebrity that had it before that? Linda Evans maybe? I had heard not too long ago that he was "spotted" around here. I don't imagine he spends too much time at this residence with the other residences that he and his girlfriend have though.

David got a fair amount of candy - nothing like 22 lbs - but probably a few lbs worth. He has a small candy jar and the candy he gets at H'ween will typically last him til about next summer. we aren't big candy eaters.
