I had a cyst removed on my scalp last week, and I was supposed to go get the stitches (2) taken out today, but I didn't go. Now I've got that lovely itchy healing thing going on.... would it be horribly bad to take them out myself? I can easily see them and they're driving me nuts.<br><br>

You think you can see it in the mirror well enough to do it? I wouldn't try in on scalp stitches. More accessible ones, maybe.<br><br>
Is it that hard to stop by the clinic for a quick snip-snip?

they're right in the front, just back of my hairline. it's not the quick snipping, it's the 45 minutes I'll spend in the waiting room.
