Just wanted to thank everyone for all your support. It was quite a day out there. Between the weather and some serious gastro issues on the run my day didn't go exactly as planned, but I got the job done and got myself over the finish line.

It was awesome meeting Bonnie....she's this amazing little whirlwind of energy and she had my whole family highly entertained. Love you Bonnie!!

No race report just yet, but I did post a bunch of pics to FB if anyone wants to take a look.

Yay, I'm home too, and trying to do some catching up now that I have a computer again! Typing on a smart phone just totally sucks.

All in all, I'm happy with my race. Of course, I wish I could have gone faster, but it was a BRUTAL wind, and besides, I didn't do the miles in training. (Don't you just love my negative run split though, hehehehehe ...) Was tempted to sign up for next year's race but training falls in my busy season and it was hard enough this summer with too many 12hr+ shoot dates. While I was racing, I said I was NEVER EVER gonna do another IM again 'cause I was hurtin' so much ... well, I guess it's like giving birth ... we forget the pain when we experience such joy at the finish!

Carolin and I are going to do IMNZ one day, right?

By the way, Carolin and her family are ENTIRELY AWESOME!! Can I adopt you all as my family? It's funny, I felt like *I* was the one being entertained ... hehehe ... they're all so interesting, warm and delightful. And Carolin's mom, Marg, took good care of me in the change tent.

I think Carolin did an incredible race, especially considering all the circumstances.

Cheers, my dear Team LIT family ... RR to come! Thanks so much for the support ... it was so nice to know you'd be cheering us on and watching for us!
