My mom and I cleaned out her kitchen cabinets today. I've never seen someone sooooo attached to disposable plastic stuff. .... Like those takeout containers you get at the deli?<br><br>
I get to go home with some of her extra stuff that she doesn't use.<br><br>
BUT, she also had cleaned out a closet in the house, and I think she found my parka from when I was on the diving team in college. awwwww<br><br>
I think I might take it home with me and use it in meets.<br><br>

About a month before my mom died I cleaned out some of her kitchen cabinets. She had condiments and products from the 80s.

Whenever my sister comes down here, she does the same thing to the fridge and spice cabinet. Then, she takes home the extra spices that mom doesn't need.<br><br>
We tease mom about her condiment amnesia.....she's got more half opened bottles of relish and mustard than any one I know.

I do the opposite. My dad hates hoppy beer, so every so often I plant a 6-pack of micro in their fridge. I know he or Mom won't touch it, so every time I visit I know they'll have a cold beer just waiting for me. I just recently drank the last winter ale - from a year ago!
