Plan this week is about the same as last, 40 miles. Next week I am going to start working in tempo runs one day a week.

6 easy this evening.
I wasn't going to start tempos until next week but ....

6 today in a cold, wind driven rain. I picked up the pace just to get done. Not quite down to tempo pace, but it was definitely quicker than easy, so we'll call it tempo.
It was a nice evening for a run ..... 8.1 easy miles.

Yeah, there's really nothing intimidating in that section. I've found that I am slowest in the park, and that's because of the softer surface.

One thing to be aware of ... You come out of the park and you're at a little under 11 miles. Those last couple of miles trend uphill, so leave a little in the tank.
Friday's 6 miler got rained out, which means I had to run Saturday instead. I got out early in the morning before the rain picked up again. 7.6 Saturday morning. This morning it was chilly and windy, but I managed to get 13.5 miles in. This week I ended up a little over 41 miles.

Now that we moved the clocks ahead I can pack away the reflective gear until fall.
