jebba, don't get discouraged. It will pass, just rest and chase that sickeness out. I felt the same way that you do all winter as I was constantly sick, or so it seemed, and missed long runs which was really depressing. But, it will soon all be over.

Congratulations, Chris, on your PR. Great way to start the season!

I hope you start feeling better soon, Nettie.

Nice job on the 14 miler, Jill. We had good running weather yesterday. I enjoyed my LR as well.

This week will be in the low 40's again. I had to move days around last week, so today's 6 miler was my 5th day in a row (about 41 miles). The legs were definitely feeling heavy. Tomorrow is a much needed off day.

Race day is 4 weeks from this coming Sunday. We're getting there.

No early morning meetings so I was able to get a 14 miler in without feeling rushed. Looking to get about 45 miles in this week.

Well, I finally started feeling better on Friday. My only run of the week was today: 9.66 miles (I managed to short myself nearly half a mile on my planned 10 miles) at 12:13 pace which is about a minute slower than I typically run my long runs. Ack. I hope my body can get itself back up to speed by next Sunday (race day).
