Well actually about a mile away, or at least that's what it sounds like. I'm still at work, getting ready to head home and see if I still have a house and kids (they're at daycare, very close to the path). If you don't hear from me this evening, I either have no house or no power.

First tornado I've ever heard of in my 36 years in the Northwest.

Good thing your knee sucks, otherwise you might've been out there, riding home with a sweet tune in your head, when all of a sudden you got swept away, never to be heard of again. Phew. We might miss you if that happened.

Glad to hear all is well. We had one hit about 15 miles West of me Monday night when it was about 60 degrees. Did some damage, but nothing horrendous. Weird winter weather. Now it's 34 degrees with an icy rain.

Glad to hear you're okay, Matt - I saw some footage and thought wow, that's some crazy carp.

I'm sort of a weather geek myself - unusual weather in places always gets my attention. I heard on the radio this morning that it snowed in Baghdad of all places.
