can I play?? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
I've run 11 marathons, numerous 1/2's and a few 10k's. Qualified for Boston twice, ran it once (with a broken tailbone!) and now I live and try to run at 9300 ft. There truly is less air up here... but I'm getting better.<br><br>
Do I qualify?? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

What kind of pie would you like? I used to own a cafe' and made all our desserts. You name it, I'll be happy to provide it. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

Hey! And I'm sorta <i>old</i> for a cute piece of leathery mutton ... um, or something like that. And I'm <i>almost</i> as old as you. So you're in! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
This Old Bat loves pumpkin pie. It's that time of year.<br><br>
There's a thread somewhere down below where you can properly introduce yourself as we're all about protocol and good manners around here.

Welcome Runninintherockies! I'm older (turning 50 in December -- gulp!!!!) but just a newbie runner. I'm a terrible cook so you can send any pie my way too! Luckily there's an apple orchard near me so we buy Apple Walnut Caramel pie on a semi-regular basis (ie when I'm having a sweets attack).<br><br>

We like cute old girls <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">; especially the ones who make coconut creme or bananna cream pies. But all of our "old girls" in this forum are cute so you'll fit right in. 9000'? ru crazy?<br><br><br>

What Tammy would have normally said if it wasn't 'International Talk Like a Pirate Day': "Hooray, more goddesses!" (That's how we old guys refer to the ladies on the CR Boomer board, but we don't use Boomer here...)<br><br>

Welcome Rockie,<br>
All my runs start at around 400 feet above sea level!<br>
Pie still tastes the same down here, though. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

even though we are sort of doing away with the "boomer" title . . . I hope we are planning on retaining the "goddess" title. I've grown rather fond of it . . .

Hello again, Sam<br><br>
Come in and join us in the daily threads here. Even if you're not running much, you can entertain us with 14er climbing stories, not to mention the social life of Snowshoe. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Cool"><br><br>
