I just started eating them.

I must say they are nutritious and delicious in the form of a bar.

This 200g bar contains:
Calories: 913
Fat: 58g
Saturated: 22g
Trans: 0
Cholesterol: 0g
Sodium: 64g
Carbohydrate: 120g
Fiber: 12g
Sugars: 61g
Protein: 32g

I'm not a vegeterian, but my diet is low in meat, and I must say that since starting this hemp seed thing, I feel much better. (No, there is no THC in this, that's not why I feel better)

Just sharing and passing along.

Here is a pdf of what I'm talkin bout http://www.greathealth.org/hemphearts.pdf

There you go, coming around eh?

Yes, 913 calories in one bar if you eat the whole thing. I just eat a little nibble for a snack after lunch. I have been getting faint/weak in the afternoons before exercising, and this has eliminated that feeling. I think it was lack of protein since I started such a light diet. Not trying to lose weight, just trying to eat healthy.

I wish, I'd be rich if I did. They are already crushed and shelled. It's just the heart. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a whole one!

Is thing like candy bar size??

I'd rather have a Double-Double for 800 calories than some stoopid seeds and gravel.

no shit.

and that's a LOT of fat.
58x9 = 522 Calories from fat.
more than half.
and more than a third of those fat calories are saturated.

just sayin'

32g is a good amount of protein, but you could do a Clif Builder bar that would give you a decent amount of protein ( to prevent the weakness/woosiness), and less fat (if I'm remembering correctly).

No, it's pretty damn big. Like bigger than a king size snickers by far.

Yes, omega 3, 6, and 9.

I'd imagine if you ate one a day plus your meals, you'd gain some weight. But for people whose diets are low in protein and fat, this is a good source for you!
