And another one into residence. Beautiful campus. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of bunnies. I could not make that up even if I tried. Dozens. Hundreds.

Protests for and against the bunnies. Only in BC.

My buddy's daughter was married in a little chapel on the campus of UVic and throughout the ceremony the gathering spent more time watching bunnies frolic through the floor to ceiling windows behind the bridal party than they did watching the wedding.

I never saw bunnies doing what I thought bunnies did all the time though.

I am so jealous of the oby. I have great memories of Victoria. It's where I met some of my closest friends, it's where I first fell in love, where I first discovered running (oddly enough, when I was forced to fall out of love...). Good times, good food, good memories.

I'd love to know which classes he takes and which profs he gets, I bet I know a few.

ASPCA has been trying to get local communities to utilize this humane method for feral cat colonies.

Pagliacci's for pasta. There is an amazing deli across from the touist info. center on the harbour too - their shrimp and avocado sandwiches are to die for.

Victoria is one of the few places I'd consider moving.

People release their pets on the university grounds when they don't want to care for them. Rabbits breed like rabbits. Population explosion. The protests Grizz refers to are the pro and con humane culling proponents duking it out. As of the last time I cared to know about the issue there was a restraining order preventing the University from culling the population.

Maybe there should be a "season" as they do tend to multiply exponentially! I think they are cute but when there are too many and they starve.. not cool.
