I had such good luck with the TI clinic i was thinking of spending some of the tax refund on a tri camp.I am just not sure if i am ready for it or if it will really help me out.The 3 i am thinking about are the TI one in New York, and one in San Diego and then one in Arizona where you get to ride some of the IMAZ course.I am thinking that it might be better to do if i was gonna move up to a HIM or full IM but for sprint and OLy's i would more than likely be out of my league and wasting money, which hasn't really stopped me from doing things before.

I only went to girl scout camp...I learned to roast marshmallows, build a shelter and macrome.

I'm afraid I'm not much help.

.One time.....
at band camp.....

I went to winter training while diving in college. It was oddly fun.
I learned how to parallel park!

We had the town basically to ourselves....the only people there were the residents, and all the other athletes who had to spend most of Christmas break on campus.

I was soooo glad I was diving and not swimming.....
One year, they were on alternating days of 4/day workouts. ACK!

Oh yah.....I was a diver.
I started diving on a dare.

The fact that I didn't kill myself in 5 years of diving is a testament to the all reaching protective power of God. I certainly did my best to kill myself.

We used to make up new constellations with the bruises that I'd get on my legs. lol

I wouldn't have been able to do it if the coach who was giving me lessons hadn't suggested that I walk on the team for "free diving lessons" as opposed to paying every semester. I'd gotten to the point where 2x wk wasn't going to get me much farther, so by joining the team I got 6x wk. AND, Jane Fonda
AND, weight lifting....(oof. The first session of that....killed me. The next morning, I couldn't move)

I've never been to one but I'd like to hear from those who have. Did you get much out of it? Are they tailored for the novice or for the very experienced who are looking to take it to the next level.

I actually hit my head on the board one time. Feet, hands, numerous times....but the head thing - I think it's the source of all my 'issues' today

he he he he...
I was always too far away from the board to hit my head....especially on gainers.

Inwards....clipped my toes and fingers once or twice.

I was more in danger of smearing myself along the surface of the water, like an oil slick.

Sheldawg...super secret swim & transition clinic.

If you want us to do camp you need to invite us to stay at your house for free and take us running, swimming & biking at the beach.

I'm sure there are super secret skills you can teach me.

I'll pay for my own ticket and help Lucy cook. Crap-I'll even amuse Bailey throughout the day.
