I love you guys - every damn one of you! It feels like being home again to be in here these days. It dawned on me recently that you folks were some of my most important friends, and that I've been neglecting you.

You know, yar, even though I had told myself that I was not going to actually engage anyone in here anymore when they pissed me off, I am going to make an exception since it is my own thread.

Many of the people in here are friends that I've been very close to for six years or so, from back in the old Coolrunning days in the Newbie Cafe, and many are people I've met up with and become quite close to.
 
Also, even though it's "sad" somehow that I care about a bunch of folks I don't see on a regular basis, and "sad" that they're important to me, to me it is even more sad that so many of us don't express to each other the very real possibility that our friendships matter, and that very few of us have time in our day to day lives to make friends with the people we do see on a regular basis.
 
So yes, I'll stand by my statement. "Most" of the people I interact with here in the PRT are real friends, and they do matter to me, and in order for them to continue to be friends, the friendship requires some attention and maintenance sometimes, which I've neglected lately.
 
Go ahead and be sad, yar. I'll shed a tear for you myself.
