Hi all<br><br>
I had a nice e-mail from Matt at headsweats asking if we had any further progress on a logo<br><br>
I seem to have lost my ability to go byond the current page in the forum so I cant remember if we had a consensus regarding a logo or is it still a work in progress<br><br>
If anyone knows can you let me know<br><br>
Thanks<br><br>

Apologies folks... been a very busy boy... the Ironmate too. Will have her clean up the original (without figure guy). That was the general consensus. I did take that (general consensus), just didn't get around to posting my findings, which I had said I would. And I apologize. So I'll have the Ironmate polish up the original, will post again, then if all is well enough have her generate the proper files and send to Neil.

No wonder Thor and his Ironmate are busy... unless my math is off, it's less than two months to the big IronWedding! <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>
Hmmm.... I wonder if we could figure out a way to have a VIW (Virtual Iron Wedding)?

Two months is right. I had my first (yeah, right!) ah-ha moment today... or maybe I should say, I had my first holy-Christ moment today... Was at the YMCA and trying to upgrade my single Adult membership to a Family one so that I could add the Ironmate for a reduced price. The lady asked me her name, and so I said her first and last names but then said, "But her last name will be changing in a few months." The lady smiled and said, "How nice, when is the wedding?" I said, "A few months," fully anticipating 3 or 4 months. "April 5th!" She replied, "April 5th... that's soon... in that case we'll just put her in the computer as a Kirleis (my last name)..." Then to be sure she repeated all the information back to me, including the Ironmate's name, complete with my last name. My heart pumped several beats quicker for the next half hour.

Anxiety attack? Nah. But it was a moment where I said to myself, "Holy f$%k, the wedding is less than two months away." Almost instinctively, my next action was eying the nearest woman with google eyes, as if I wanted to say, "Hey babe, wanna see my schnitzel?" I thought otherwise. But don't hate me for thinking that way, I mean, I don't have too many days left to share my rational exuberance.

it's been two years and I still do double-takes sometimes when people call me Mrs. Cohen. The first time my husband called me at work after we were married (I answer my phone "Monica Cohen speaking"<img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"> he was dead silent for about 30 seconds. Cracked me up.<br><br>
is the wedding also "north of boston"? we got married in tewksbury.

That's funny. Wedding is in Stow, Mass, which is not technically north or Boston; it's more north west.<br><br>
Where in Tewksbury? I live very close by and am quite familiar with it. In fact, one of my very good swim buddies lives there. And one of the lakes I swim at is a stone's throw away.

YES! We're very excited. It really is a nice place. We're hoping for unseasonably warm weather with no snow so that we can stage much of it outdoors, but we're smart enough to not get our hopes too high. Personally, I'm more excited about the place where we will have our Rehersal Dinner. They have an amazing selection of beers on tap, including my all time favorite. The only drawback is that I might get in trouble there. The Ironmate has never, ever told me to be a good boy for anything, but I suspect she will for the first time ever tell me to behave myself around all of those taps of beer.

And she should. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>
BrewDad had a bachelor party two days before our wedding and DISAPPEARED the entire next day. Showed up 30 minutes before the rehearsal with his brother & friends, bleary eyed but OK. West Michigan saw ice in August...mostly because I was worried out of my mind.
