Itis our most solemn of holidays.<br><br>
I'm celebrating it in Atlanta...doing missionary work to try and get it instituted in the US of A.<br><br>
Next week I will be spreading the word that Memorial Day should be a holiday in Canada.<br><br>
We really need to get together on this as we definitely need more holidays.

It is also known as May 2-4 (a "2-4" is a case of 24 beer), the long weekend that kicks off summer. This year by happy coink-eee-dink it falls on May 2-4. Have a brew.

It's a beautiful day here! I spent some time in the yard, painting the railing on my front deck. I only got so much of it done before DH had to go to work, though. So now me and my girls are chilling. I think we'll go pick up some flowers for my new pots. And then my sister's for a bbq.

I took the kids to the park for a picnic with the grandparents. Then we chilled out at home. Kinda a so-so morning here, but a nice afternoon.
