Happy St Patick's Day Everyone

I suppose it's good for someone Irish to start today's thread.
I had a nice recovery run after yesterday's long hilly run. I started with a bit of groin strain but that soon went after the first mile.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! I'm heading out to the gym in about 15-20 mins after attending to the doggies. I'm bringing in soda bread for my staff today. We had our corned beef dinner last night b/c we both have to work a little later than usual today.

Good morning everyone,

I did a Duathlon this weekend..... over 860 miles of driving and 26.2 miles of running in the last 2 days....a rest day today is in order.
Everything feels good with just some normal morning stiffness & I PR'd by about 9 minutes ( 3:59:00).
I got to meet CHoovie, Mr. Hoovie (AKA Jim), Dennis and his family, and got home safely.
I'll file the obligatory race report later this evening if I get some time...off to work.

Good running to all today.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.

I ended up not running the 20 miler I had on the schedule for yesterday. It was just not going to happen after getting back in town at 4:00 AM Sunday morning. (Ugh)

I'm back down at sea level and happy to be able to Breathe again! Amazing the difference between sea level and 10,000 feet. 10 miles easy this morning at 9:29 min/mile pace. HR averaged only 135.

Finished my gym workout - it was a short one - 30 minutes elliptical and 10 minutes stretching.
The good thing is that my shoulder/neck is starting to get better. I've been to the chiropractor twice and am going again a little later this morning.

Top o'the Mornin to you all. And a fine sunny St. Paddy's Day it is, here in Albany.

I rode my bike into work this morning. Holy Shamrocks it was cold. I've ridden at 35 to 40F, and that is fairly comfy once you get going. 25 is cold.

My commute this morning took me past the NYS Capitol. There were news trucks from everywhere on the streets of Albany. Must be something going on....

When I drove past the Capitol, I tried to find someone to hand my Emperor's Club VIP card too, but noone would touch it. That place is not a Video Store after all!

Isn't it a Grand Day?

Congrats Peter! WTG!
I managed 6.25 miles this morning in very windy conditions. I guess the tail wind made up for the head wind since overall pace wasn't too bad (for me)... 52:24 8:25/mile.

May the road rise up to meet ya,
