For the first time ever I am not trick or treating. I think it's a good year to stop though with a 40* rainy, windy night. Poor kids out there.

Only 4 days! Woot!

Have a great day.

Morning, Alex! No Hallowe'en? Too bad...

I did 6 miles last night, and was starting to cramp towards the end of it. I think I didn't drink enough during the day, but also that the donation last Friday messed with my electrolytes a bit.

I craved a pickle last night after dinner, so I ate one. I don't normally crave pickles...

Oh, and we had potato soup so that should help with my potassium and calcium levels!

The weather is just fine here. I got in 16 miles this morning as the 49°F temperature felt just right. The legs got a little tired towards the end of the run. Other than that, I had a nice time. Keep them fun everyone.

61*F here with a 14mph wind when I went out. Really pleasant!

5.25 miles 43:57 (8:23). I love shuffling through the leaves! Run included a pretty decent (but short) hill that always tries to kick my a$$, but I don't let it.

Haha, twill not be my last! I decided against it and am off to get an ungodly stash of candy to rot my teeth on before my dentist appointment tomorrow with my coach. (He's the town dentist.)

Only kidding, my teeth won't rot. But I'll still eat an enormous supply of sugar in the next few hours.

I was going to run the length of the river trail tonight, but forgot my Camelbak, so I settled for 6 miles.

Was having real "porto-john" issues on the way back. So much so that I had to walk near the end of the 3 mile back. Not pleasant.

Nice night up on the trail. Still hard running up there with all the leaves down on the trail.

Run Segments
Incredible run tonight. It felt amazing. 11 miles along the Great Dismal Swamp path. I had my eyes out for goblins or bears but only saw a wild turkey.

Cooler weather YAY! Finally I was able to run the pace I like for training runs (8:35-9:00), and it felt easy and strong. Great stress relief, too. I am so lucky to be able to run.

Alex, enjoy some candy for me!

Had a blast trick or treating and easily got a couple pounds of candy to last me for who knows how long...maybe a few days, maybe a few weeks. It sure will be nice having that big stash though!
