Or so it seems!

Just got power back after 2 days "off." We got about 12" of snow on Saturday night but thank goodness it is slowly melting away. I thought we had moved to Canada or someplace really cold! We have a gemerator but it is still a lot of work to keep the house running and cooking is only possible over the bbq. I know know to pick up an electric fry pan for future emergencies- I can make all sorts of food on a frying pan!

We had school- because there is a giant generator there now.. but given the icey yards, dark homes and cold temperatures the town postponed Halloween till Saturday night. It was tough explaining this to the kid I work with at school. He was sure that this would NOT apply to him and he was still going out trick or treating. Tomorrow might be a bit ugly....

Glad to be back in "civilization" again.

Anyone get snowed in ?
