Soften the butter in the microwave, add brown sugar, and stir until creamy. Add the flour, oats, vanilla, salt, and baking soda and mix well.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-family:Arial;">Take half of the mixture and press into the bottom of the square dish.</span></span><br><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-family:Arial;">Nuke it, uncovered for 5-6 minutes at 70% power, or until it sets. Rotate it half a turn half way through the nuking. Apparently, the crust will be uneven.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-family:Arial;">Spread the jam / raspberries on the crust. Sprinkle the remaining dough on and press lightly. Nuke, uncovered for another 4-5 minutes at 70% or until set.</span></span><br><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-family:Arial;">Rotate it half a turn half way through the nuking. Serve warm.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-family:Arial;">Makes about 10 servings.</span></span>
