I'm watching "The Longest Day," the greatest war movie of all time. I don't think anyone would argue against calling "The Godfather" the greatest gangster movie of all time. Some might call it the best movie period. But can you pick a "greatest movie" for other genres?<br><br>
The greatest western of all time? And the greatest romantic comedy of all time? Comedy? Action movie? Scary movie? Other genre?<br><br>
Are there generally accepted "best" in these genres?

I'm surprised no one made more of a franchise from "The Arnold's" like they did with "The Corey's"<br><br><img alt="confused.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/confused.gif">
Didn't say I hated "King Pins" <i>... please ...</i> I like "Big Lebowski" better. It's more complex, Julianne Moore says 'fuck' and its director are Academy Award Winners.
II <i>is</i> better than I from a craftsmanship and storytelling standpoint. The "Godfather Saga" [which tells the Corleone tale chronologically: DeNiro>Brando>Pacino] really dilutes it.
