I thought I might be hooked after my first triathlon. After this one I can confirm that I am hooked!

Swim: 14:41 (still learning and working on my technique)

Swim + time to transition: 15:46

T1: 2:34

Bike (15 miles): 51:31 (18.6 avg pace)

T2: 1:48

Run: 34:08 (11:01 avg pace; I can run forever but I can't fun fast...grrrrrr)

Total time: 1:45:45

I took 7 minutes off my first triathlon time (and the bike was 3 miles longer)! This is my last tri of the season. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be too many tris after Sept in the Ohio/NKY area.

My hope is to take the winter and really get my swimming where I want it....and cadence drills on the trainer. Once I do that I really feel like I can start the season with a sprint and then move to the Olympic distance. My stretch goal is to finish the season with a Half (gulp).

I can't wait for next season. I am such a newbie.....
