Anyone try this? My chiro has been using it on me for the last year and it seems to be working.

For years I had been experiencing pain in my lower neck/upper shoulder due to whiplash. He seemed to think it was a build up of scar tissue and went at me with a Graston knife. Basically he broke down the scar tissue and now I'm pain free, although at first, it was a painful procedure.

A couple years ago I had two sessions with a chiro. [hip/lowerback/leg]

HURT LIKE A FRICKIN' MO FO...I was so bruised, that I looked like I'd been in a crash.

I decided it was not worth the pain, so never went back.

My chiro has used it on my shins. Me thinks I am ready to go in for another session. Ouch.

Yup. Hurts like crazy. Seriously. Makes me sweat and wince and curse silently (only because there are other people in the room). But, I guess it's working....

I was dealing with calf/achilles problems all summer. Got ART stuff done and it worked, but only temporarily. Eventually went to a sports med doc who gave me a script for PT where they would do Graston and the tightness seems to be getting alleviated. I've been getting it done 2-3x's a week for the past 3+ weeks.

I can't post a pic from work, but in my blog (link below) there are pics of the bruising I got from it. Yeouch!

I had Graston done to the base of my skull...I swore he was trying to cleave my head from my body. I actually find the pain stimulating and leaves me feeling refreshed afterwards.
