Super tough 10 miles this morning. Took over 3 miles to settle in to a groove. Mile 6 it occured to me that I was really thirstly. At 7.5 the only reason I didn't walk home was A. I was running with somone and B. I was sweaty and walking around in 20 degree weather while wet sucks pretty bad.<br><br>
A bunch of stuff all came together simply to make today's run tough. Sleep - my number one obstacle in training - not enough. Diet - I'm a new vegetarian and looking over the past week haven't gotten the protein and iron I've needed. I've been fatigued all week.<br><br>
My quads are beat.<br><br>
Time to make some hot chocolate and play a little game I like to call "Use every drop of hot water the new heater is capable of making"<br><br>
