<p>I cant sleep now so I got up instead of tossing and turning next to the wife in bed and possbily waking her up.</p>

<p>Bedroom is painted and put back together.  I just have to hang the new drapes today.  Then it is off to buy stain for the new closet doors for DD's room so I can put those in.</p>

Sounds like you've kept busy on your time off!<br><br>
I was super tired this morn...think it is the fall weather or dark morning. Slept in, skipped my run.<br>
I have my annual physical this morning; may come home and plod on the TM afterwards.<br><img alt="rolleyes.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/rolleyes.gif"> I'm sure my weight, blood pressure at today's appointment will send me into a funk.<br><br>
I have always had low bp; but in recent years, it has been climbing enough to worry me.<br>
My lifestyle is not the cause....I know it is age and genetics related. Oy!<br><br>
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my dermatologist for my annual "skin check" to make sure none of my barnacles (hahaha, that's what we call them) are worrisome.<br><br>

<p>No running since last Friday.  I need to get out there but I can't breathe without hacking. </p>
<p>Fortunately I am still swimming with the kids at school.  Today I get to swim twice!  The second session will be with my 6 EBD kids.  It's been nice knowing you!</p>

Well, I am indeed fluffy....time to get my hand outta the snack cupboard (and those bad MINDLESS EATING habits) and back to the ways that helped me to maintain a 46+ pound weight loss for 10 years. <img alt="mad.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/mad.gif"><br><br>
Got my flu shot while I was there. No longer teaching; but may as well be better safe than sorry.<br><br>
Another sign that I'm getting older~~~~~> doc wants me to go in next week for a baseline DEXA scan (bone density)<br>
She was wondering why i hadn't had one, since I've been in menopause for at least 7 years!<br>
She said they usually have women get one after a year of ending menstration.<br>
No matter how fit and butch and strong I am, guess it is a good thing to get done.<br><br><br>

<p>My bday is in two weeks, i may buy that for myself. I always make frozen banana "ice cream" but it is a PITA in the magic bullet and this would be so much easier! I almost bought a cake pop maker at Kohls today. I had Kohls cash burning a hole in my pocket, but Zoe was with me so we bought her 2 packs of undies (she is potty trained!!!), two pairs of pants, two pairs of PJs. boooo for me! Oh and a Thomas the train chair on clearance for $4.</p>

<p>Good morning. I had some meetings this morning and am back at my desk and wondering what to do next. All projects are under control- I should get out and ramp up BizDev, but I'm kinda enjoying the downtime confidentially </p>

<p>Tonight- I am having dinner with a friend who just quit smoking yesterday. Should be interesting. I'll see how grumpy she gets and won't hold it against her.</p>

I'm curious because my brother in law is seeing his doc in December for a cocktail of some newer meds to help him quit.<br>
BIL is 62 years old, and has been smoking since his teens.<br>
He has tried everything (except acupuncture) to quit.<br><br><br>

<p> Hey all - posting in the pm as usual. Been battling a really bad bout with my asthma - DD had a turn last week at the doc, but I hate to take myself as all they seem to have to offer is Prednisone and I cannot be a pred-head..</p>
<p> I haven't been to bootcamp in a month. I had to take a break due to kids' schedule and too much to do in Sept - early Oct. BUt have figured NOT going has NOT helped my asthma.. so back I go on Thurs..even if I need to go out in the parking lot and cough up lung at some point.</p>
<p> </p>
<p> Porty-  Love this aging thing,huh?  You should be able to be weighed - but face away and not be told the #- If I know it is going to depressed me ( by whatever my mood is at the time) I ask not to be or at least that they keep it to themselves !<br>
