Good Morning,

and Yes it is very early even for me. I woke up and I couldn't fall back asleep. This could make for a LONG day at work. I gotta stop at Home Depot on the way home from work to get a new light fixture for our kitchen since our current one isn't working right. Gawd we have spent a ton of money inthe last 3 weeks. I just gotta get through the party on saturday and then the bank is closed again for us.

Good morning!

Miss Sunshine came home with a bad behavior report yesterday, her first full day of school for the year. She got in trouble for talking and being off task. I don't think she's trying to be naughty. Any suggestions for how I can help her stay on task? I told the teacher before school started that she likes to talk, and should probably be seated close to where the teacher is going to be to discourage talking.

Jebba,

You would think she would need an adjustment period back to school. That is some high expectations for her. Definitely sitting close to the teacher will keep her more engaged and focussed. I do not think I could sit thru class all day long and these are wee ones!

Zoe slept ok for some of the night, she slept from 8:30-3am, but then was up for quite some time. I was impressed, 6.5 hours! She even slept thru a crazy storm.

Today before work, I am going to try to get a run in and then Zoe and I will have lunch hopefully with my friend and her newborn :)

Good morning all.

Yesterday I heard back from a professor that I contact. He said he might have a position available, depending on funding. I really hope that works out since my current funding finishes at the end of the year.

Last night I started a new sewing project. I'm going to make myself a skirt! Sewing projects are fun.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Wait, 1st day of school for a little one (what grade) and the teacher already sending home notes. I think teach needs for retire, her expectations a little too high.

My oldest son got a "bus ticket" his first week of kindergarten for swearing. His bus came to a RR crossing, the bus driver tried to quiet everyone down to no avail so he stood up on his seat and told everyone to "shut the hell up!". The driver told my mom (also a bus driver) she felt bad giving him the ticket because he was just trying to help..... she sid they all quieted down too.
