<p>Well I am up and getting ready for work.  My new company is a worldwide bank so they don't really care that most of America is shut down today.  BUT having to work today is SOOOOO much better than not being employed at all.</p>

<p>Good morning. Got up a bit later than I hoped. I am feeling a little bit better at least. We are going to my grandfather's this morning and then a couple friends are coming over in the afternoon. No work today, but tomorrow I will be there.</p>

<p>I'm off today but only because I'm taking it as a PTO day.  Effective this year we no longer receive the Friday after Thanksgiving as a day off.  Not because of business, just as a cost cutting move. </p>

<p>We are having a cool day for a change.  It is raining a little but temps will go back up tomorrow.  Very mild weather so far this year.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>A little later this afternoon around 5:30 I'm going to a second Thanksgiving dinner.</p>
