Good Morning,

Another day of working in my DS's room to finish stripping wallpaper. No work was accomplished on that yesterrday. Hopefully I can finish stripping today and possibly find the paint colors we need this afternoon.

Morning.

Slept like a rock last night. I was just plain worn out.

Off to order DS's senior portraits this morning, then a walk with DW, grocery shopping, cleaning the house up a bit and some cooking. DD has 5 of her college friends over for the night so this should be interesting.

Good morning, PRTers - Fridayyyyyyyyyy!

I'm happy to see that once again FB is stripping on a Friday. ;)

Everybody have a great day. I plan to sit at work, watch the clock, and sneak out as early as I think I can get away with. Then it's time to spend the weekend getting packed for our Christmas in July campout at Roaring Rivers.

Yes, it was quite exhausting. Our crew did about 30 hours of pacing and crewing. (we had two crews) It was also hotter than the previous few years, it was 128F and I cannot even tell you what the temps read IN THE SUN!!!! LOL. But we were so busy, we never even had time to think about it. Anthony went batshit crazy at the end of the race and RAN up Mount Whitney. I was his pacer and he was running 10 min miles up the mountain, and once we got over a certain elevation I could not keep up. How pathetic? He just ran almost 135 miles and I cannot keep up! LOL. Crazy stuff. I hope to get some pics uploaded later today, but now I gotta shower and go to work.

Hi Eco!!!!!

Yeah, he was INSANE. Every time he saw another runner or runner crew on Mt Whitney he took off. I told myself, I can muster thru 4-5 miles with him, cause he just ran 130 miles, and the last mile I had to let someone else pace him, because I was dying. At one point he turned his music down and was like "OMG Meredith! you are breathing so heavy, and I am not" I was like, YOU ARE CRAZY!! We are 8500 feet up and running 10 min miles up a mountain. EGADS! btw, 10 min miles is my SPEED WORK PACE! LOL.

It is back to humid here ick! I am currently procrastinating -- I have 2 more bridesmaid dresses to make for my neighbor and I really need to start.

Later I am transport for DD and 2 friends to the movies ( Eclipse.) and then DS and I are going to greet a home bound military flight at Pease Airport with a group called the Pea se Greeters. I need to decide if I will take the Louie Dog with me this time. He was great with the people there.. but the other dogs made him crazy excited. May have to leave him home !

Todd.. are the girls staying over ? That is always a good sleep buster for everyone here when my DD has her friends over !

tech Goddess - I have always been curious about the Christmas in July thing at campgrounds- what actually happens at them ?
