<p> I am a little late this morning so I need to get my butt out the door for a run.  So far no rain here in Jax.  I thought it was supposed to have started already but maybe not.  I talked to my dad last night and from what he has heard his property at the NC Outerbanks should only get tropical force winds and rain, not hurricane strength.</p>

Sorry about the lack of rain in your dry area, Eric. Hopefully you folks will see a soaker....and that the east coast won't get blown or flooded off the map.<br><br>
Bootcamp, mowing, weeding, same old same old.<br>
I MAY get on the peppy little Trek for a short bike ride.<br>
Amazingly, I haven't ridden at all yet this year. Lazy? Disinterested? Both?<br><br>
If I don't bike, I might pull out the clubs and go hit range balls. (have only golfed once this year)<br><br>

<p>good morning. tired. the one race i originally was going to do this weekend was canceled and the one i am registered for is not canceled, but i doubt i will run it. i was going to plan on running a big race in October, but with last week being sick and this week most likely a wash out, it does not look good </p>

<p>Haven't worked out for a couple of days, really starting to feel "large" - Looks like I'm gonna get hit by Irene - I'm 4 miles just north of Long Beach, LI.  Got the robo-phone call to prepare to evacuate.  I'm not worried about my house getting flooded,I'm on a hill, but, streets around my area will definitely flood.  Going to be an interesting weekend.</p>

<p>Daughter and her husband and some of their friends are here for the next 4 days on a mini-vacation. They were up early this morning and on the lake fishing. I'm working from home today and then tonight, a nice dinner date at a intimate Italian restaurant with a nice lady I recently met.</p>

<p>So.. all in all, TGIF is stacking up to be a nice one!</p>

<br><br><p>I just heard about Mayor Bloomberg's press conference. My aunt from NYC was to visit this weekend, not anymore. I hope you do not get hit too hard. We are on a hill too, but it is the whole no power thing that concerns me more. Ugh. I hope it just blows out to sea and this worrying is for nothing.</p>
