No major plans today except maybe go to the zoo.

Good morning. No time for a run today. Lots to do in preparation for Zoe's bday party today!!!!!!!! The weather forecast looks great. FB- i may take Zoe to the big zoo tomorrow if the weather looks ok. We have a membership to a smaller zoo with only N American animals, so this would be a real treat!

I had terrible insomnia till about 3am.
When I awoke at 5 (and bravely looked in the mirror) I had so many deep sleep wrinkles, that my face looked like a sharpei poochie!
ummm, an hour later and the creases are still there......now I know what I'll look like at age 80

Will you be able to watch the UEFA Champs final next Saturday?
ManU v Barcelona....HUGE HUGE HUGE game being played in London's Wembley Stadium.
I'm planning on going to a pub to watch....more fun than sitting alone in my tv room.

I'm going to attempt a plod on the TM, prep stew for the crockpot, then do a bunch of garden/farm chores, then mow the yard, and then....wait for it....wait....begin to drink my lovely colon blow mixture to prep for tomorrow afternoon's roto-rooter appointment at 1:30.
 
2 liters between 4pm and 8pm
then 2 more liters tomorrow morn between 6-8:30am

porty--holy crap! The times I had to do a "cleansing" I only had to do 12oz of mag citrate. I can't imagine trying to get 2 liters down! BLECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky you! Wonder why the difference between protocols?
I had to do the gallon-of-liquid-colon-blow for my first colonscopy, 6-7 years ago. I had a tough time with the final few cups, even though they allow Crystal Light lemon to be added for flavah!

I got my plod done, gardens watered, lawn mowed, laundry done, blah blah....within three hours, it'll be be the start-time to hang out in the loo until bedtime.

porty--not sure. Mine was a "cleansing" for abdominal surgery. Guess the doctor didn't want to worry if he nicked my bowel? Have to say the worst was the small bowel follow-though. Cleansing, followed by having to chug about a liter of barium. Nausea+drinking chalky water did not go over well!!!

The party went well, it did not rain, but it was quite cool out and very overcast. Zoe is passed out, finally, on my lap. I ate so much spinach artichoke dip i may explode. I made it and i made it yummy!

17.4 miles done this morning. Been a bit busy so I didn't get back here to let you all know I survived.
 
I did.
 
Got rained on the last 5 miles. Told the DW that it was no worse than how sweaty I already was as I had whipped off the shirt at 11 miles.
