Headache woke me up this morning so I will shit-can the run and just spend the day with my mom and her hubby until the Packer game comes on. Then the festivities start!

Heading out to the Arboretum after the game for a look at the color in the fall leaves.

It is frosty here too! Should be sunny and about 53*....gotta be sure to hang today's laundry out for that 'fresh fall smell'

Workouts? Hmmmm....Yesterday's kettlebell session kicked booty, so today it'll just be upper body lifting and a stroll around the farm property [assuming the foot cooperates]

I watched that game,Porty. That sucked! Leaves are changing here too. We're still a week or so from peak foliage, but it is coming!

DS was AWESOME in his football game yesterday. He was kicker, and had two great kicks. He is center, and all his snaps were perfect and he was a good blocker. He plays guard on defense, and he had a sack and a bunch of tackles for a loss. He totally shines on D! He's like Haloti Ngata, except 200 pounds lighter and 15 years younger!

Sorry to hear about the headache, Todd. I hope it passes soon.

Not much here today. I plan to run, and then do some yardwork. Then at 1 it's Ravens/Steelers.

Morning Woke up earlier than I had to, due to my quads complaining about yesterday's hike! I had my first morning hot tubbing, and watched the sun rise. It was fa-reezing cold out this morning, so getting in and out was kind of brisk!

Altoids-- I am sure the hot tub was nice while you were in it though.

Nothing too exciting here. go for a run with Zoe once it warms up a bit. DH has a 50K race today. When he gets home I am going to jet over to my friend's mom's viewing. I hope to make it in time. Just got word that my great aunt passed away last night WTF? Please tell me things DO NOT come in threes.

Good Morning,

Finally kicked the kids off the computer so I can get on for a few minutes. Leaves don't change down here! Still no frost, but it actually cooled off enough last night that we slept with the windows open and no A/C.

Gotta do house work, head to staples for a new office chair since the fabric on the seat cushion of our current one is on it's last legs. Then home for outdoor chores aka mowing the lawn. Then I might sit in my hammock with the jags game on the radio and my book and some cold beers.

Later.

headache...def dehydrated from last night. and in case you were wondering, dancing after running 19 miles isn't the best idea. I was so sore, that I slept miserably....hopefully I can get to bed early tonight.

my coworker locked herself out of the office building, but all her stuff was in our office, unlocked. Sigh. I had to throw Zoe in the car and drive 20 miles each way to get her the key card. How do you do something like that? LOL. Now time to think about LUNCH!

MG--oh, that stuff is so easy to do! I nearly locked my keys in the van this morning. I stopped at the gas station. Got my credit card out, tossed my wallet and keys in the cup holder. Got out, and as is habit, hit the lock button as I was closing the door. Uh, yah, keys in the cup holder... Luckily, I caught the door before it closed! Otherwise, I would have had to run the 2m home to get the spare set.

Good afternoon, all! I envy you folks with cold weather already.

In Havana it's going to get up to about 85 with a low around 70 tonight. I got out and did 3 miles this morning trying to (slowly) get back in the swing of things and lose the 15 lbs. I accumulated over the summer.

The reason I would never want to live in St. Thomas or St. Johns (U.S. Virgin Islands) is the eternal summer. I love to visit and hope to visit Cuba if they ever lift the travel restrictions but I don't think I could deal with the weather always being summer.

I lived in Orlando for six years and the reason I moved back to Atlanta was I just couldn't stand the heat. Although I loved working at Walt Disney World. I still have my Disney name tag and a few other things as souvenirs.
