<p>The storm hasn't started in my area yet; but the weatherdudes are saying we'll have ~10" by tomorrow eve....and then the blizzard warnings kick in for blowing/drifting/dangerous windchills.</p>

<p> Got to sleep in a bit.  DS has second football game of the season this morning.  But first he has team pictures.  I get take him to the team pictures but then I have to come home and log in and work since I am on duty today, so I will miss the actual game.  DW will meet me at the fields and we will swap positions.</p>

<p>DD had 2 melt downs last night between the time I got home from work which was almost 8:45 and 9:30 when she went to bed.    Ugh.</p>

<p>Yesterday was a long freaking day.</p>

<p>Good morning all. I don't normally post here since its almost 10 am for all of you but thought I'd stop in. I'm sitting here in my recliner, fire in the woodstove, geriatric dog asleep by my feet. In a bit I'm off for a run with our running club. Just checked the weather, its 32 an winds are calm. It doesn't get much better than that. Hopefully, we won't have to deal with the icy conditions we had last week. They're calling for showers later, but I think it will be rain rather than snow. Which means snow for the ski resorts and no mess for us.</p>

<p>FloridaBoiler - i remember those days with DD. Now ours is a lovely young lady who will graduate college in the spring. Hang in there.</p>

<p>It's cool here in Atlanta with an arctic blast forecase to come through Sunday to drop our temps into the low teens by Monday with the possibility of a light dusting of snow.  Warm enough today to do a 6.5 mile run this morning at 7:30 from the Carter Center.  QuikTrip sucks for coffee, though.</p>

<p>porty, we are taking the car to Sam's Club today to GET NEW TIRES!  lol  DH laughed at me for crying about it.  You know you love your kids, but when you are afraid for their safety, you REALLY know it, in your bones and in your guts how much you love them and what losing them would do to you.  I'm sure you know all about that.  </p>

<p>My work day is done, DD is in a better mood today.  I had Burger King for dinner, working on beers now.  DS's team won their game.  He had one sack and a 5 or 6 other flag pulls including one to save an extra point.  He said he just missed scoring on an extra point play himself. </p>

<p>Soo now I can relax some until tomorrow when I have to check and see if I have any more work to do.</p>
