Good morning. The local football team won last night, 55-14. It was 48-6 at half! Whoa!
 
DS has a game this AM. He is Center and kicker and defensive tackle and loves football. I hope the rain holds off and he has a good game. He's got grandparents coming to watch. Later, we'll go to the Midd Colege v. Wesleyan game and the probably watch Alabama - Arkansas on TV.

Today, is split family day. I am taking DS to his game down in St. Augustine and the DW is taking DD to her game here in town. Then this afternoon I will probably mow the front yard and then relax while watching football and drinking beer. DW has to work tonight so not sure what I will feed the kids for dinner yet. Probably hamburgers or hot dogs.

Good morning. Not much sleep last night either. I think we figured out why Zoe is sick (fever, lethargy), i saw her MOLARS coming in. Not the very back ones, but the ones right before them. She just got her 3rd and 4th teeth a couple weeks ago, so this was quite a surprise, and kinda freaky to see them coming in out of order. Going to try to muster thru a busy morning at work.

I remember the days of weekends-being-a-soccer/track-mom. Sometimes, I TRULY miss them. (but other times, I'm glad we aren't playing musical folding chairs and vehicles)

I need to plod on the TM, and then get ready for football. DH, Mum, and I will only stay for the first half. I still enjoy going to the games and the coaching. Although at times I miss the fact that there are races i can't do right now since my weekends are so busy with soccer.

Porty, there is someone in my neighborhood with a Wisconsin license plate and every time we are out running or whatever and we see that minivan, i say, It's Portymom!!!!

Good morning! Busy busy today. Library, then soccer games, and Miss S's violin lesson. I also need to sneak a run in at some point, and prep for tomorrow's sunday school. Miss S is also really eager to go to the museum sometime this weekend to see the ]Dale Chihuly exhibit. They've been discussing Chihuly in her art class at school.

Reminds me of the hockey chant we had when we played Brown... We yelled "What's the color of shit? BROWN!"
 
Brown had a good comeback: "IF YOU AIN'T BROWN, YOU AIN'T SHIT!"

Yes, that is Dale's work.
 
He is a native of Tacoma, WA and while we lived there I fell in love with blown glass and art glass in general. His stuff is fantastic!
