<p>  DW has to be at work extra early this morning so I have to run extra early so I have to get up extra early today.  Then the house has to get cleaned up before DS's friends come over for a movie, The Last Airbender and then a sleep over. </p>

<p>It is going to be a long day and night.</p>

<p>Massives storms moved through here yesterday afternoon/evening. I think some of the worst stuff [in the Milwaukee area] made national news? Multiple tornadoes, hail, high winds, flooding rains.</p>

<p>And there's more coming today & tonight.</p>

<p>I will go check on the sweet corn and tomato cages today. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;" title=""> Hopefully, they're still standing. I won't go in and monkey with the corn....just let it be. But I will go in and straighten up any of the 16-20 tomato cages which may have been knocked down in the high winds.</p>

<p>First, however, it is to the stinky skanky humid hot HS gym for bootcamp. *gak* It'll be a great workout, but still *gak*</p>

<p>good luck with the b-day festivities, eric.  That kind of day just wears a parent out!  I can't tell you how many times I've surveyed the damages after a kid sleepover and wondered why I'd cleaned up beforehand!  <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/lol.gif" title=""> BUT I do know the cleanup was actually for the parents dropping off their kids, not the kids themselves.  <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif" title=""></p>

<p>Sleep last night was crappy. My allergies are killing me. Yesterday was a crazy day and the fire alarm went off at work. I was halfway thru putting needles in someone. Fun times. We stood outside for atleast 30 mins.</p>

<p>Had some friend over for dinner last night, so it was an evening filled with a lot of laughter.</p>

<p>I'm only working a half day today because we have a bunch of errands to run in the afternoon. I figured I might as well work from home since it's only half of the normal work day.</p>

<p>The basketball court was filled with our drippy puddles....I had to seek out dry areas before I'd put down my hands for pushups or turtles, etc etc etc.  I guess it is a spin on the term WET SPOT! <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif" style="width:15px;height:15px;" title=""></p>

<p>I checked my backyard rain gauge this morn~~~> 3.5" in our little area over the past 24 hours, with more on the way</p>
<p>Guess I won't attempt to wander into the gardens and tip the tomato cages back up.</p>

<p>I have a rare Friday off but it's no big deal because I have to work tomorrow.  Slept late, having eggs and coffee and watching the Tour.  I'm planning on doing a triathlon today in honor of Joe Truini:  Bike, mow, run.  </p>
