Good Morning,

Back to work after a weekend that felt REALLY short. The kids are now officially out of school. Oh brother.

Later, I gotta go run in the humid mess that is a morning in Florida.

I'm going to attempt bootcamp today, even though I'm feeling sluggish/sore/tired/pissy....sore 'n' achy from the hours of farm chores and mowing. Pissy cuz of mr. porty. grrrrrrrrrr

Then it is a day of errands, and continuation of yesterday's farm 'n' yard chores.

Porty- well, I am sure he will see me at some point, there are only like 80 runners LOL. Do you know who he is crewing for?

My legs feel ok, my ITB/knee is quite stiff. I will foam roller later today. We have yoga this morning (last class until 7/15 because instructor is moving) and then Target and the produce place, then probably the playground. Whew!

Good afternoon! Run done, plus about 1.5 hours splashing around at the YMCA pool. Miss Sunshine is a fish this summer. This afternoon I have a meeting with the Food Policy Council, and even later the kids have kung fu. My little Ezra was student of the month last month. Woo hoo!

meri,

I just sent a pm to his wife to find out about the pacing. I'll let you know.

eric,

Yesterday sis, BIL, and I [along with pretty decent help from our 85 yr old mum] worked for 5 flippin' hours on tornado damage. I'll try and remember to get my camera for some of the dozens which we'll never be able to clean up.

Amazingly, neither barn, nor the gazebo, nor the crops were damaged. But several massive 45-80 year old pines & oaks....eek.... are gone.

Today sis and I spent another 3 hours doing weeding, mowing, blah blah blah out there. We hiked into the back woods to find MORE tornado damage...holy schlitz, it would have been fun to be there (in an armored tank) to witness the events as they took place.

I finally left the farm at 2; but Sis was out there another hour or so doing some rototilling.

As for retirement: DH and I are officially done.
