<p>Benj, hope you get a great appraisal.  It rained here all weekend.  A few sunbreaks now and then, even enough for most of my run on Sunday!  But I think we picked up INCHES of rain.  It is just a wet mess everywhere.</p>

<p>Are you kidding, Porty?  LaCrosse got hit by a storm last night and that bitch didn't swing over towards you after?  Our pond was up about a foot yesterday, but it has evened back out.</p>

<p>we have had 13 out of 14 days rainy and more rain today and tomorrow in the forecast. I am planning on taking Zoe to the big zoo today. Threat of a passing thunderstorm, but it should be brief if at all, so i think we may chance it. Unless she sleeps too late. It is about 45+ minutes away.</p>

<p>Good morning!  We're in the middle of a 13 year cicada invasion.  The rain quiets them down.  But I won't be able to get my outdoor run in, since they are predicting thunderstorms.</p>

<p>my son [in lacrosse] said his roomy was visting friends/family and got caught in a tornado up in the area....WHEY scary...he and the others are okay.</p>

<p>As for rain: the weather dudes have promised us storms 'n' rain every day for the past week; but all we've gotten are some hailstones and high winds.</p>
<p>Barely a spittle of rain has hit my part of the county.</p>

<p>jebba--we've had the cicada invasion.  Those buggers can be deafening!  Even affect the Memorial Tournament.  Even worse was when they were all dying off.  Piles of 'em everywhere and they STUNK!</p>
