Time for a run, then work, then some more final house cleaning before my dad gets here tomorrow.

Troll#2's four yr old Dell laptop is hanging on by a thread. Well, actually it is pretty much toast.
We want to get him either an HP or a Mac as a combo of xmas-birthday-early college graduation gifty.

Porty, I detest HP systems, and all who have Apples like them, though they're quite pricey for what you get.

Get the mac if you can afford it. They don't break and they hold their value better than any other computer.

Hi GB!!!!
Get a Mac, Porty. We are HUGE mac fans. I have never owned anything but an Apple computer. We recently (summer) got a refurb macbook pro and it is awesome.
 
No sleep last night. i am really getting exhausted. We have preschool yoga today, then errands and cooking and cleaning.

Ambien = Great sleep for me last night! Sorry for the sleepless folks, but this getting up at 4am, or earlier, wears on me.
 
Off to church to rip up the old carpet. Egads! There is a TON of it. Not to mention that all the pews need to be removed also.
 
I have a pretty full day, but I want to get a run in later. Skipped my run yesterday so I am off schedule now.

Morning Folks. Was saved from traveling on Wednesday by getting released from the site this weekend. We own both Mac's and PCs. I like both, but have to change gears when I swithch to the Mac. Our autistic grandson has no problem at all using either and switches easily either way. He prefers the Mac because of the camera but that's about the only thing. I'm getting a camera for the PC. I prefer he use the PC as if he breaks it, then he's not breaking a $1200 computer vs a $700 computer. Besides, I'm thinking of replacing the PC anyway.

My niece was born early early this am!! Total surprise, as she was going to be induced in December, due to mom's health.
 
Baby is in nicu due to lung issues, tho. She was born one day before her daddy's birthday.
 
 
Mac products are great, but are really pricey. You can get astounding products for under the Mac price.

There's something quite lovely about misery in Dallass and ViQueenland. I used to like Brett Faver when he was a meat packer, but man he was a weinie in that post game interview yesterday.
 
BTW I wore my Wisconsin shirt all day today...People used to make fun of it and my Boise State shirt...not so much these days.
