and myself!

we are racing at the Lonestar Triathlon this weekend. Kyle and KC are doing the 1/4 distance (I believe). and I'm doing the 1/2 iron distance. I'm heading there tomorrow. Hope to run into you guys!

1/2 iron?? yikes! what was I thinking?? it's very early in the season, but my training has been good and its a good jump start for my upcoming IM training which starts in June.

Who else is racing this weekend?

Good luck to all!

Heather, we are going to try to meet up at the 5:00pm race meeting on Sat. We need a LIT pic of the 4 of us.
We're not getting there until Sat afternoon either. We have a family reunion earlier on Sat, then heading out after that. Hope to see you at the meeting.

I'm doing the MS150 in 2 weeks, so my cycling miles are great! It has been hard to put in 12 hour training weeks, I sometimes wonder how I will be able to do even more for IM training.

Heather, I hope to run into you!! Not sure what I'll be wearing but I'm sure we can spot Kyle, tall, and prolly wearing something LSU.

Good luck to all Lonestar Racers!

It's probably early enough season for you, so be sure to pay special attention to pace, and don't get ahead of yourself until you really know you can hold it off. Trust in your training and self and let the day come to you. If you do that good things will come.

I will be doing the sprint Saturday morning and the Aquabike Sunday morning.

I'm "racing" a friend on Sunday who is in the elite wave for the half. He starts at 7:30, I start at 8:00. I'm not doing the run. He may still beat me to the finish line!

The toe is doing great, no problems at all.
But one of my toes on the other foot is bugging me. No idea what I did to it, it just hurts when I put pressure on it a certain way. I can still run though.
And my hip flexor still bugs me sometimes.
Sigh, I guess it's a sign that I'm turning 40 next week.

And yea, I'm easy to spot. 6'4" tall and I'll be wearing my purple LSU cap.
