It is the 18th day of the year. I gotta head to work in a little bit.

I REALLY need to learn portion control on my meals etc. I eat WAY to much food.

Good morning! FB, I'm with you. When you measure out a serving of most stuff, it's disappointingly small. I'm going out to dinner tonight, so I need to keep it lean and mean the for breakfast and lunch.

Eric,
When we aren't burning any calories with workouts, then portion control is EXTRA tough.

Meri,
Hope Zoe feels better soon...and that everyone gets some rest.

I hear ya on portion control. But, when I cook, 6 servings is never enough. I need more like 8-10 and maybe there will be a single left over for son1 to take for lunch. I suspect, though, that my biggest problem right now is liquid calories. I've been drinking a lot of coffee, and not black.

meri--I so remember those days. Pink eye spreads so easily. One of my kids always got ***** eyes right before a major cold hit. I do not miss those days!!!

Work this afternoon. Hound dog NEEDS a bath before. Good thing he's small enough to pop in the kitchen sink!

I am SO glad this is a 4 day week!

I have the same issue with portions/leftovers! - I do okay with my own portions.. but DS eats what there is.. DH thinks he can keep up with DS and shouldn't! I went to a nutrition seminar at bootcamp and got some dirty looks when I burst out laughing at the speaker's suggestion that we eat left over dinner for breakfast! I haven't seen leftovers in 3-4 years unless I cook an entire turkey !

Tired today and it is getting cold out. I will be on exercise bike tonight and going to be early ! I had a long day yesterday and I am paying for it today.

How i have not imploded today is a mystery, but there are still about 2 hours left until bedtime, so you never know .Zoe is feeling better but being a super terrible, awful, horrendous listener. I want to pull my hair out. And i ate spaghetti squash for dinner while they chowed on penne. sigh.
