Good Morning,

We had fun at Orlando yesterday. Finally got to ride the Harry Potter ride. Boiler Jr and I both agreed that it is NOT worth the current 2 hour wait. We had been waiting for an hour and the line was barely moving so we both agreed to give up. Then as we were walking by this one attendant that was warning everyone it was a 2 hour wait from that point but he said it was 15 minutes for singles. I looked at Boiler and said, You wanna go that way?

and he said sure. So we went and rode it in separate cars but we got to ride it.

Other than that we just rode some of the other rides we hadnt been on yet and did one or two that we have done in the past.

Back to work today.

have a safe trip home Porty!

Later.

Bittersweet, sad.....but oh, so proud of our youngest and his new career. It made me cry double to see my husband and adult son crying.

We are on the road (10 hours) to son #1 in south Carolina.
He is working as a whitewater guide on the Chattooga River....sort of near Seneca, which is sort of near Clemsen.

We hope to score a rapids trip with him tomorrow!
He's off on Friday, and plans on taking us to see the sights.

We will have yet ANOTHER tearful goodbye, and leave early Saturday to head back to WI.

Morning.

Porty, your comments about the Trolls, made me tear up.

We dropped both kids off at ISU-Ames on Sunday. Spent the night in town in case they needed any last minute things on Monday. We left after numerous hugs. No tears, yet. I wonder if they will ever come. It is quiet around here...I miss my kids.

blueberry picking, yum! we used to live near a blueberry farm in MA and i would definitely eat more blueberries while picking them than actually ended up in my basket.

No run for me today. Sitting with Zoe eating breakfast and watching Dinosaur Train with her. (well, i am on the computer because i cannot bear to watch more Dinosaur Train.)

Rfh,
Bob and I were discussing (during our long drive today) how horribly difficult it has to be for military families to see their loved ones off to the unknown.

Update:
We arrived in Seneca, SC late this afternoon. Enjoyed a burger at a local pub, chatted on the cell with troll#1 after he got off the river.
We will head over to see him tomorrow, and possibly score a whitewater trip with him.
Wheeee!

enjoy your river trip, Porty :)

WHen i was pregnant i joined a mommy forum and met a lot of online women who were due the same time as me. We all have a private FB page now that we chat on. Many of them are military wives and OMG i cannot even imagine. One woman, her DH is deployed for the second time in her DD's two years of life :( she does not know her father. It is so sad and they recently moved from HI to NJ!
