<p>  SSDD type of Friday for me today.  Ignored the alarm, battled the snooze whatever you want to call it, I got  up late today.</p>

<p>Time for my 5 mile run then another work from home day.</p>

<p>Not only that, but today he turns 62 and is officially retired! <p>Good morning. Porty- enjoy the cake! Up early because we are leaving for NC this morning. Zoe and DH are still asleep. I want to leave early, but we shall see what happens. I am really not looking forward to the long car ride with her. I got some DVDs from the library for her though. </p>

<p>Morning.  Off today but get to work the weekend.  Disaster barely avoided this morning as Powie, in his early morning glee, knocked over a full mug of coffee.  Both the laptop and the gf's new phone were in the mess but so far no damage appears to have occurred.  There was definitely some colorful language in the air.</p>

<p>Heading down to the U of MN to enjoy DS's robotics competition today and tomorrow.  DD is coming up from ISU-Ames to even partake in the fun.</p>

<p>Good morning!  Tonight there's a surprise 40th birthday party for a friend of mine.  His wife has planned it like a wedding: shuttles, dinner, hotel discounts...crazy.  It should be a ton of fun.</p>

<p>  We have had ANOTHER  snow day off from school - just as well - DD was very sick with asthma/ breathing problems   yesterday and last night -  I <em>almost took her the 30 miles in the snow storm to the ER.. </em> I was pretty worried about her lastn night but we were able to get to the doctors this morning for a nebulizer treatment and she feels MUCH better. I really hate asthma!  Hopefully the virus will kick out and melt away with the snow in the next few days.</p>

<p>  TThe good news is - It's opening day - Red Sox in  TX at 4 pm ! Yahoo. .. sure wish I could've gone there for the weekend ( warm -sunny- spring - OH WHEN WILL IT BE OUR TURN? )  </p>
