Getting ready for our 4 mile race. Rain, 44*. Awesome. That bottle of wine better be worth it, haha! We will each get one at the end of the race.

Hey Bard!!! We'll probably pass each other on 75 this morning. I'm heading down your way.

Core stuff, butt tape and 3 on the tm, because of the crappy weather Bard mentioned. Except 10° colder.

Happy Thanksgiving. I'll head out for some miles at some point this morning. It's 4 with -9 wc right now. At least it's not storming though!

race is done, finished in 52:34. 13:09 pace, not bad considering I have barely run in the past month. I could tell too, my legs were really tight early in the race. My time was just a tad slower than my race PR for the distance of 40:27 but I'm actually not disappointed. We actually had a break in the rain so it was actually decent running weather. Joe ran/walked alongside me the whole race, which was fun. I don't often get to run with someone I know. Now we are eating a bagel and then will get cleaned up and head north. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I got up this morning for the race and James didn't want to go (feigning illness). I was supah sad about it at first, but whatever. It was pretty cold (32) and windy (17 mph), so probably not a terrible call. Ran 4 easy with DH - he hasn't been running much so it was slow, but so nice to have the time together.

Cindi - love your blog post - especially #1. I am sure it is tough having a teenager, but you can tell she loves her family! I love all the sweet posts she tags you in on FB. Very sweet. You are definitely doing something right.

Extra hugs to Torque today, who I am sure is missing his son (along with the rest of the fam).

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Hopefully, at some point in your day, you thought about the good in your world. I've had the toughest year of my life this year, but today I was happy to be surrounded by my family, though I really miss my grandmom, and thankful for them.

Hey all,

A nice long turkey day with the family. DW cooked her buns off. I took care of dirty dishes.

No running, but I'll get out in the morning for a few before I head into work for the football game vs. Arizona.
