<p>there wasn't a dry pair of knickers in the house while they listened to our two expressive, kind, gentle voices narrating this version of the bedtime story</p>

Now that my girls are 13, 16, and 19, I Iong for what days were like when they didn't really talk back, annoy me, my wife, and eachother, steal eachother's clothes, growl at me when I drag them out of bed for school, be irresonsible,tell me I don't know anything, don't help around the house, ask for money, stay out late, etc, etc, etc.<br><br>
This, however, is one of the things I do NOT miss.

<p>I can relate though to the feelings of frustration. Imagine the fun with twins, getting one to sleep when the other one sets off... But this week I'm feeling a bit misty-eyed over it, and while I am prepared to admit that the passage of time makes those days seem a lot easier than they probably were, I do miss the ease of solving problems. Hey, most times walking the floor a bit and rocking them a bit, cuddling and soothing would solve all hurts. Can't do that with a big lug with a broken heart.</p>

Still at 2:00 in the morning when I notice that a computer is still on and he has to get up in a few hours for work I do want to say "Get the fuck to sleep!"</p>

I, having a westie-poo, have the worst of the terrier part. Digging, and barking. The stupid little 15 pound dog has paths dug into the yard where she runs at full speed when people walk by with their dogs.<br><br>
And, the two psycho dogs that live in the house behind me. One is a Jack Russel, who sounds like a rabid animal when she barks, and another small breed that is really nasty. Even bit its owner. I don't understand why they still have him. When the owner takes them for walks (she takes both of them at the same time), the entire neighborhood knows, because the psycho dogs are barking at almost every house. They even started biting eachother one night, they're so psycho. it's like dog, mob mentality.

<p>Puleese. She's just upset because she didn't get the idea out there first. One of my biggest pet peeves is when one group of people tells another group of people how offended they should be at some occurrence. As if group B is too stupid to know when to be offended and needs to be told. To me, that's insulting.</p>
