Anyone know how to reset a Garmin 205? I had mine plugged in to the computer to charge when my computer froze. Now my Garmin won't turn on. I have emailed Garmin. I hope they answer quickly otherwise I will have to use my old one for my long run on Saturday <img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif"> or buy a new 405 <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">.

I think it's something like press the mode and the lap buttons at the same time and hold for a few seconds... then try to turn it on again.<br>

See if you can lock it up again, or just happen to lay it on the driveway behind your car. It must be time for a 405!<br><br>

This happened to me... I just put it back on the charger and ran w/out Garmin that day. When I tried it again later, it worked. Thanks for this thread!
