I use Joe Trailman (similar to Dirty Girl but plain black) for standard runs, but that type won't work in snow. Snow (especially heavy/wet spring corn) will push up under the gaiter, so you need the type that ties under the instep... Gaiters
Running in the midwest and eastern trail races, I have not found the need to wear gaiters in the summer. Not yet.<br><br>
But for powder snow, I want gaiters. I'm running a 50k next week with the possibility of ankle to calf-high powder snow.<br><br>
What brands/models do you recommend?
