<p>Congrats.  Week nights were a little slow at Red Lobster, and good for learning.  Friday and Saturday nights were packed and the tips were decent.  When I worked there they paid the bartenders a little bit more hourly because we didn't make as much in tips on week nights as the other wait staff.  Occasionally the wait staff would share their tips with us. </p>

<p>I enjoyed  bartending at Red Lobster part time for about two years until my full time job just got to be too much.</p>

I'm sort of thinking it's going to be not so hot on tips but at least it's paid training and if things don't pick up I will have more to go on in search of another job  ... I'll likely stick it out till at least after the holidays and see how things go ... I also told them I'd be happy to pick up extra hours as a server  ...</p>
