It may have been mentioned, but the assignment was on Physical fitness.

BTW, they couldn't see that stuff on the right....I just copied a it off a student's results...she got it right, that's why it says 100%.

Not one kid laughed! Not One! I'd have laughed if I was a kid and read that on a test.

Why are there tests in PE? I just haven't figured that one out yet. Of course I only had 4 years total of PE ( parochial grammar school.. parish ran out of money and turned the school gym into the church in 1950 and never looked back) It wasn't really a great experience in the 70's BUT there weren't any tests.

Which body type is generally considered to be ideal?

- Ectomorph

- Mesomorph

- Endomorph

- Theia

No, first test of the school year.

And, they were all pretty easy.

In response as to why we have tests in PE. This is a Personal Fitness class that I teach to HS students. It has a Health component included, and every wednesday we take our computers and do an assignment on a fitness related topic. We use our laptops because I put all the assignments on the web, so it is availible to students at all times, if they happen to miss class that day.

It works pretty good.

I had an awesome Geography teacher, but I and three other kids got kicked out of his class and made to finish out the term in the library for laughing too much at his tests.

Q. What is a tidal bore?

1) A person who talks endlessly about tides

2) A special type of drill driven by tidal power

3) A wave of water caused by the leading edge of an incoming tide travelling up a river or narrow estuary

4) A small tidal wave or tsunami.

Funniest story ever was from a professor of mine...who claims this really happened.

When he was in college, the prof gave a test and said "Be sure to read the directions carefully before you begin." The directions were all about number 2 pencil, filling in circles completely, blah blah blah, and then "Skip to the last question on the test, answer no others."

Kids sat there for the entire hour, staring with question #1, taking a test that didn't need to be taken if they had read the directions.

I took a test like this in seventh grade. I was about half done when I started hearing my classmates groan and go "good grief." That's when I 'cheated' by looking at the end of test, then went "oh, no" myself.
